Quantum Decoded //

June 25, 2025 – August 20, 2025 // Museum of the History of Science // La Perle du Lac – Geneva

Quantum physics has revolutionized our understanding of the world and is at the heart of many technologies we use every day. As part of the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology proclaimed by UNESCO, this exhibition immerses you in this fascinating universe through a series of educational panels on key concepts located inside the museum, as well as cutting-edge research conducted at the University of Geneva, presented in poster format along the Geneva lake.

This exhibition is a project by the Geneva Quantum Centre (GQC) / University of Geneva, in partnership with the “La Physique Autrement” team (University of Paris-Saclay, CNRS) and ID Quantique.

The Geneva Quantum Centre (GQC) is an interfaculty center of the University of Geneva, established in 2022. Its mission is to showcase cutting-edge research in quantum science and technology carried out at the University of Geneva, in areas such as quantum information, quantum computing, precision measurements, and quantum materials. At the same time, the GQC fosters collaboration between researchers at the University of Geneva and other key quantum players in the Canton de Genève, such as CERN and private companies. It also develops educational programs for students and organizes numerous public events, serving the community and contributing to the international reputation of Geneva.
